International Professional Canyoning Training Course: Instructor level 3 ICTC/IN3

Instructor 3 training course is very successful; as an Icopro Instructor, you will access to a high title within our Organization.

The centers always seek for ICOpro Instructors to work jointly and manage their centers.

You will be trained by an ICOpro Examiner (senior Trainer level minimum) and will get certified at the end of the course thanks to the Instructor Card.

A couple of months after you got certified, you will receive by mail your professional card including a one-year free licence and offered products: Canyoneer Cards, « ICOpro Instructor » tee-shirt, cap and your certificate.

Duration:18 days

  • Pre-training course e-learning: 4 days
  • Instructor Lvl 3 Training Course: 14 days

Prerequisite

  • Have validated IN2.
  • Have a minimum validated 250 CAI.
  • Pass succesfully the Pre-ICTC/CA1-2-3 Observatory Interview.
  • Have completed the ICTC/CA1-2-3 Observatory.
  • Pass successfully the Post-ICTC/CA1-2-3 Observatory Interview.
  • Participated in the IN3 webinar before sign up.
  • Have completed IN3 e-learning pre-training course.
  • Be in a good mental and physical condition. 
  • Mastering ALL Canyoneer lvl1,2,3 techniques
  • Have a valid first-aid certificate issued less than twelve months prior to the training course.

Objective

Have all the required skills to teach an ICTC/CA1-2-3 and validate an ICOpro Canyoneer level 1-2-3.

Organization:

The training consists in 6 technical and theoretical teaching modules, including analyzing exercise and evaluation (P.A.R), aptitude memory exercise (Feedback) that will be carried-out during the training and 4 Clinic Days of revision and regulation.

  1. During 2 days, the Instructor will teach and supervise the ICTC/CA1, composed of real CA or not.

    1. Preparing a course plan

    3. Teaching according to the ICOpro frame work and timing
    4. Providing clear and easy instructions to the trainees
    5. Conveying secure and technical instructions adapted to each situation

Day 13-14: Classroom session

During the day 13-14, candidates must prepares their next day’s teaching assigment (drawn by lot) and must present:

  2. A theory module with a PowerPoint
  3. A techinal module

They must apply totally the ICOpro pedagogical concept. 

They must respect the given time with a margin of 20% more or less.

They must be able to respond to the trainees questions and be professional.
